Cella’s Sweets has been around since the fall of 2009. I’m sure your thinking, “well that is not very long.” I know; I thought of that while typing this history. But I have been tackling sweets for years now, and this is something I love to do. I debated on what to call my venture, and finally settled on Cella’s Sweets after my daughter Marcella. I tried to stay away from naming it after her, incase we have another child, but Cella’s Sweets stuck with me and now you are stuck with it too.
You see, I have always had a desire to have my own restaurant and provide people with an experience that stays with them long after they leave. Since I now have nothing holding me back, I thought why not. So I started picking through recipes and finding the best in cakes, cheesecakes, and more. I put a lot of work into my desserts and hope you enjoy the end results. I have a price list of goodies I am proficient at, but will always attempt, and by attempt I mean try and try till I get it better than right, any suggestions. Especially specialty cakes. I have a wonderful cake recipe that allows me to carve and shape the cake before icing and covering it. Try one for your next party, it will be a hit.
